St Augustine Editorial Photographer Shoots Major Religious Relic

Editorial photography Major Religious Relic

The Relic of St. Augustine dates back to 430 A.D., and it is visiting the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Augustine, on loan to the diocese for the 450th Anniversary celebration of the City of St. Augustine. The relic is part of the Vatican Treasury, and this is the first time the relic has ever left Italy, so the Catholic Diocese in the US needed some great images to publicize this historic event.

Encased in bulletproof glass and escorted by armed guard it was an honor to be chosen to photograph the relic and one of the first people to see it here in the US.
