First Tee Scholarship Event! - Professional Training for Student Athletes
The First Tee – North Florida chapter based in Jacksonville hosts an annual scholarship-focused event as part of its national opportunities—most notably the First Tee College Scholarship Program. Each year, Jacksonville-area participants who excel in academics, leadership, character development, and community service can apply for scholarships up to $20,000, along with mentorship, professional development workshops, and internship assistance. Additionally, First Tee hosts a Winter Workshop locally—often in Jacksonville in past years—bringing together scholarship finalists to build life skills, prepare applications, and connect with mentors.This event is a meaningful stepping stone for local high school seniors, combining golf-based learning with college prep and community bonding. Monarch Studio was able to photograph the event, create professional headshots and produce a video in conjunction with Salt Run Creative for use on The First Tee’s Social media and other media outlets.
